Mumbai’s teen innovator and author Arjit More wins International Excellence Award 2026

Teen author and innovator Arjit More from Washim has been honoured with the International Excellence Award 2026 for his research-driven writing in science and innovation. The award was conferred for his English book, “Jigyasa: From Curiosity to Clarity”, presented by Exceller publishing during the Global Author Summit 2026 (Session 1) held on January 2, under the category of Young Adult Writers (Under 18).

Exceller, an ISO 9001:2015-certified organisation, is a member of the Federation of Indian Publishers and is affiliated with the International Publishers Association, Geneva. The publisher has worked with authors from over 20 countries, aiming to amplify socially relevant and thought-provoking writing.

The book explores science beyond textbooks, positioning it as a tool for societal engagement. It emphasises curiosity, observation-led research, learning through experimentation, and navigating failure as part of the scientific process. Written in an accessible style, the book seeks to cultivate scientific temper, creativity and innovation among students.

Speaking after receiving the award More, thanked mentors, teachers and readers who supported the book’s journey. He also said he intends to continue research-based, socially impactful scientific writing in the years ahead.
